1. What time should I arrive?
You can check in anytime on Wednesday September 16th.
2. What time is checkout?
You can check out anytime after 2 pm on Sunday September 20th. If you are staying an extra day (optional add on) to go to Universal Studios check out is Tuesday at 11 am.
3. Do I have to have a completed manuscript to attend?
No, you can have 5 words, half a manuscript, or a completed manuscript. It does not matter how far along you are on your manuscript. Our goal is to answer any questions you have and help you finish your manuscript (writing or editing) while you are at the retreat.
4. If dinner is included, do I need to bring any spending money?
Dinner will be provided Thursday, Friday and Saturday. We will also provide light snacks throughout the retreat and lunch on Sunday. For those staying the additional days to attend Universal Studios, meals will not be provided. You should bring spending money for meals not provided and for snacks or souvenirs while at the theme park. Also, if you want to use the resort amenities such as playing mini golf or purchasing drinks at the poolside bar you will need to bring money for that as well.
